Clymer service manuals review

 · In my experience, Clymer is a better format in general. The books feel higher in quality, and they provide electrical schematics. I'd always opt for Clymer over Haynes. @gree: If you only buy 2 things from HD, one should be the service manual and the other a belt tension guage. '08 XLN (New Toy) '07 FXDB - VH Big Radius, Forward Controls, SERT, KN Stage 1, etc. (Sold). I paid $50 for a service manual for my wife's YZ80, and thought that was expensive until I realized how much money that manual saved me from spending when I would have screwed something up by not having the manual! My opinion about the Clymer - it's better than nothing and gets the job done, but I much prefer an OEM service manual. Just my opinion.
